In His Words
This Is
My Story.
I’m Taye Hastings, born and raised in Brampton for the last 21 years. I study Justice Studies at Guelph-Humber because I have aspirations to be a police officer. I train six days a week and run on Sundays.
My passions include learning and practising my faith and teaching others about it. I love playing Ready or Not with my boys, and when I’m not working, I love going to hard techno raves with my friends.
On June 29, 2026, I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. It was the worst news I have ever received. Through countless doctor’s visits, and being told I would only have three months without chemo, I pushed to get the treatment I needed.
In October 2026, I was told the type of cancer I have is resistant to chemotherapy and that I would die in three months. That’s when my family and I started doing research, and we found out about Arizona, a place that specializes in personalized care for people with stage 4 cancer.
That’s why I need your help to raise the money to fight for my life.
I’m Not Giving Up.
But I Can’t Do This Alone.
